When Council makes rules and policies, we would like them to be reasonable, clear, fair to all, broadly acceptable, and easily enforced.  For that purpose, we would like your comments before any rules and policies become final.  We want to know how you would be affected by any changes, and if there's anything you think we've failed to consider.

This is a list of current proposals open for public comment. You can always reach this page via the public link comment.ambersontowers.org.

The best way to offer comments and participate in the discussion is to join Basecamp. Almost everything in the building is discussed on Basecamp, and it's open to all owners.  You can request an invitation to join Basecamp via email.

Alternatively, you can review proposals currently accepting comments via the web and submit comments via emailYour comments will be public.  Other owners will be able to reply to your comments.  You will receive the replies via email if the poster chooses to make them visible that way, and you will also be able to respond via email.  However, you will not be able to see comments started by other owners, unless you join Basecamp.

Comments will usually be open until the following Council meeting (on the first Monday of each month), where the matter may be discussed and voted on, unless Council believes more discussion is needed.

Before being posted for public comment, rules and policies are discussed at the Governance Committee, which is open to all owners.  Meetings are usually held on the third Sunday of each month, and are posted on the list of public events (events.ambersontowers.org) The link is the same as for all Amberson Towers meetings (meeting.ambersontowers.org).  If you're interested in participating in discussion of rules and policies before they become public, please come to the Governance Committee meetings.

Thanks for your participation!
